JB Corrie was recently faced with the challenge of providing fencing to a ten pitch 5-a-side installation located on the top floor of a multi-storey car park.
Undertaken at the Star City leisure complex in Birmingham, the project comprised a ball retention system which required rebound boards, welded mesh with netting above, integral floodlighting columns and roof netting.
East post had to be linked to the existing car park steelwork, which presented a variety of challenges. In particular, the level changes of the car park surface meant that each post had to be drawn and manufactured separately.
This and many other obstacles were overcome by the Corries team, which evaluated, discussed and found practical solutions. CAD drawings were produced for ease of both manufacture and installation.
